A Quality Assurance Inspector is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. This Quality Inspector role involves inspecting raw materials and products using measuring equipment and computer systems, verifying documentation, and supporting validation activities to ensure compliance with FDA QSR and ISO 13485 quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Use inspection equipment, measuring techniques, and PC/mainframe computer systems.
- Perform visual, basic dimensional, and documentation inspection of finished and in-process products.
- Perform all inspection tasks according to specified procedures/instructions, QSR's (FDA), and ISO 13485 standards.
- Inspect raw materials, components, assembled product, semi-finished product, and finished product per procedures/drawings and print specifications.
- Utilize attribute and variable measuring equipment/gauges and mating parts to determine product conditions.
- Support the qualification/validation processes for company product.
- Review corresponding product documentation for acceptability per specification and QSR requirements.
- Support department and organizational objectives.
- Represent and promote quality standards.
- Ability to read drawing prints and understanding of general manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read measuring instruments (micrometers, scales, calipers, and indicators).
- Basic Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
- 1 year experience in a position involving inspecting parts to blueprints using measuring instruments (micrometer and calipers).
