Leading engineering firm is looking to add an AutoCAD Drafter or Designer to the team in Fort Worth, TX due to growth. This role will support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers in creating top-tier details for distribution projects. The role involves aiding in the development of computer-aided drafting and design solutions. Experience in AutoCAD is a must, along with distribution experience.

responsibilities:
- Draft Electrical Deliverables: Create and revise schematics, layouts, power systems, lighting designs, and protection controls using CAD software.
- Support Design Setup: Assist in configuring and standardizing electrical CAD procedures and project configurations.
- Perform Technical Analysis: Conduct basic design layout, problem analysis, and system component sizing calculations.
- Ensure Compliance: Apply relevant design codes and specifications; complete work within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Team Collaboration: Work with Engineers and Project Managers to resolve design conflicts and meet project objectives.
