A Plant Manager is needed for one of the world's largest power management and power generation services companies in the Beaver Falls, NY area. The Plant Manager oversees all operations, maintenance, and engineering for two power plants, focusing on maximizing profitability, ensuring compliance (safety/environmental/contractual), and serving as the primary Owner/community/regulatory liaison.

responsibilities:
- Oversee operations, maintenance, engineering, and facility management guided by the O&M Agreement and other project agreements.
- Serve as the primary interface with the Owner and act as a community/regulatory liaison.
- Provide leadership to all Plant personnel, including selection, training, and qualification maintenance.
- Ensure facility compliance with safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.
- Work to enhance the Plant and Owner's image in the community and industry.
- Administer programs for safety, operations, maintenance, administrative, training, chemistry, and environmental compliance for safe, efficient, and reliable operation.
- Employ sound business principles and best practices to enhance plant profitability.
- Manage and oversee planned and unplanned plant outages to optimize schedules and minimize costs.
- Administer project agreements (O&M, energy supply, service, interconnection) and ensure operational compliance.
- Proven experience supervising technical, supervisory, and hourly personnel.
- Extensive experience in business principles and operational practices of power-generating facilities (IPPs).
- Expertise in environmental management, budget control, organizational development, and contract administration.
- strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills (oral and written).
- A results-oriented problem solver, motivator, and team builder with a successful track record of managing change initiatives.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Plant Manager at a combined cycle power plant.
