responsibilities:
- Plan resources including crews, equipment, crane/lift, dumpsters, traffic control, and deliveries to meet schedule and margin targets.
- Enforce High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ)/Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOAs), Florida Building Code (FBC) code, and manufacturer specifications.
- Prep and pass all inspections (dry-in, in-progress, final).
- Walk jobs daily, documenting progress and conditions using CompanyCam and uploading to AccuLynx with correct tags and notes.
- Coordinate with and communicate proactively with homeowners, HOAs, and property managers to set expectations.
- Verify measurements, take-offs, change orders, and extras to protect gross margin and cash flow.
- Manage punch-list and warranty triage to drive zero-defect closeouts.
- Ensure site safety, fall protection, and professional job sites.
- Audit subcontractor insurance and compliance requirements before starting work.
- 3-5+ years supervising roofing projects in HVHZ environments (covering tile, metal, shingle, and flat roofs).
- Working knowledge of FBC, Miami-Dade NOAs, and the inspection process.
- Experience with AccuLynx and CompanyCam or similar documentation software.
- Demonstrated scheduling, communication, and documentation discipline.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to work in the field daily.
