A Construction Inspector is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Scranton, PA area. This Construction Inspector is responsible for conducting daily site inspections, ensuring construction compliance with standards, and reporting production and quality via the Sitetracker system.

responsibilities:
- OSP Construction Inspector role for Optical Communications' Engineering Services (ES) department.
- Responsible for outside plant fiber optic projects (FTTH, SFU, MDU, FTTB) in Pennsylvania.
- The position involves reporting daily production on vendor activities from construction to test and turn-up.
- Collect and report on daily vendor activities.
- Review drawings and specifications for project familiarity.
- Monitor fiber optic plant construction to ensure installation meets customer guidelines and manufacturer SRPs.
- Visit project sites to evaluate progress, respond to concerns, and direct contractor activities if needed.
- Report daily production utilizing Sitetracker mobile system.
- Provide support for material inventory consumption.
- Enforce and adhere to safety rules and practices.
- Ability to work independently and self-directed,
- Read and understand FTTX (fiber to the home) prints,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook,
- strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members,
- strong written and oral communication skills,
- Ability to work outside normal scheduled business hours periodically,
- Fluent in English.
