A Process Pro is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Grovetown, GA area. This Process Professional manages moderately complex process improvement and new product development activities, specializing in leading issue review meetings, coordinating change control, and executing root cause corrective action using methodologies like Six Sigma.

responsibilities:
- Manages, facilitates, and implements process improvement projects within a single or limited number of moderately complex processes.
- Work and decisions may be reviewed and guided by more experienced Process Professionals.
- Applies process methodologies, tools, and measurement systems including IMPACT, six sigma, change management tools, financial analysis, and decision tools to achieve business results.
- Applies basic data tools to analyze problems for improving identified processes.
- Provides knowledge of business processes, rules, and practices.
- Facilitates the definition, clarification, and documentation of business processes in support of tactical and strategic business plans and continuous improvement efforts.
- Leads project teams toward definition and implementation of new processes/solutions.
- Exhibits strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Works with the project team leader and others to ensure objectives of improvement teams are met.
- Documents and reports team efforts and progress and validates that team results endure after project closure.
- Solves problems through analysis of issues and evaluation of alternative solutions.
- Manages the root cause corrective action process for new product development activities.
- Supports product development teams by attending meetings and supporting experimental builds.
- Facilitates various issue review meetings (build issue reviews, field test reviews, design reviews).
- Leads progress monitoring meetings and follows up with issue owners as needed.
- Validates that closure of issues is robust and complete.
- Provides regular progress reports to various audiences.
- Manages the Change Control for all supported programs (5-6 hours per week).
- Manages the NCCA process for all programs, including meetings, daily review, communications, report generation, and entry (10-15 hours per week).
- Manages SharePoint Issues, including meetings, daily review, communications, report generation, and entry (10-15 hours per week).
- Supports Builds (DB, LPB, and SOP) by capturing action items, entering them in the system, and following up/reporting out.
- Sets up, facilitates, and follows up on action items for Design Review (PDP and CI)/Virtual RQAs and DFMEAs (1-10 hours per week).
- Manages scheduling, facilitation, and follow up, including notes, understanding product lines, and consistency across programs.
- Performs daily tasks such as email, training, general communications with team members, attending core team meetings, misc. meetings, and monthly report generation (10-15 hours per week).
