A Project Manager is needed for an international biosciences company which supplies products for the life sciences industry in the Burlington, MA area. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of custom single-use hardware systems projects for the sales development team and customers, encompassing quoting, technical documentation (P&IDs), schedule and cost control, quality assurance, and facilitating factory acceptance testing.

responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales development team and customers to manage custom single-use hardware systems.
- Must be well organized and have excellent communication skills.
- The position will involve developing quotations.
- Responsible for initiating, managing, organizing, executing, and closing custom hardware projects.
- Will be the primary interface with the sales team and the customer.
- Responsible for the creation/modification of P&IDs, specifications, technical exceptions, schedules, and project cost based on the review and interpretation of customer's request for quote/proposal and user requirement documentation.
- Will be the client's primary contact throughout the project.
- Manage the project from project initiation to completion.
- Manage schedules and costs by keeping spending within project limits and ensuring company's quality standards are met.
- Able to assess the impacts on cost and schedules due to requests for modifications made by clients and seek agreement to ensure such requests are properly met.
- Development of factory release test.
- Facilitate factory acceptance testing (FAT) at the supplier's site.
- Primarily support US and LATAM sales teams with potential support to EU and Asia sales teams.
- Provide weekly project status reports as required.
- Participate/support in root cause investigations and corrective action activities, if needed.
- Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electromechanical.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Work experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Requires Project Management experience.
- Knowledge in single-use systems-Mixers, Bins, and Bioreactors is a plus.
- Knowledge of cGMP FDA, GAMP, ASME-BPE, CE, and UL requirements/guidelines is required.
- Experience in customer relationships is required.
- Ability to work in a global/multicultural team environment is required.
- Must be a team player with the ability to unite a team around a project.
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires strong computer skills with MS office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Projects, SharePoint, and AutoCad.
- Travel is required for FATs.
