Manufacturing Engineer based near Coldwater, MI for a leading industrial manufacturing company. This role is responsible to coordinate manufacturing processes for continuous improvement utilizing Lean Manufacturing processes.

responsibilities:
- Plans, directs, analyzes, and coordinates manufacturing processes for continuous improvement
- Develops, evaluates, and improve manufacturing methods
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirement, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace
- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements
- Ensure efficient Lean production methods
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering
- Must have two (2+) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3D CAD experience
- Experience implementing lean processes
- Experience identifying root cause analysis, and writing standard work instructions
- Solidworks experience
- Automotive experience
