Technical Service Manager needed for immediate Direct Hire role in the Columbia, MD area! Seeking a polished professional to lead a team (5-15) of Calibration Specialists and Repair Technicians to ensure the highest quality of calibration and rework service is offered to clients.
Knowledge of manufacturing regulations, calibration and rework process are essential for success in this role.
A technical or business degree along with 5+ years of related experience, including developing/maintaining internal and external customer relationships is required. Exceptional computer skills and exceptional computer skills and a valid US work authorization are required.

responsibilities:
- Develops and leads a technical service team to achieve best in class service
- Continuously improve service processes, procedures, and capabilities, which are measured by KPIs
- Works with service sales teams, and occasionally product development teams, to ensure the Service Center is prepared for the expected service volume and has new products/product options readily available
- 5+ years of experience in team leadership, professional and personal development, and developing/maintaining internal and external customer relationships
- 4 year degree, ideally in business or a technical field of study
- Knowledge of ISO manufacturing regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Microsoft 365)
- Must work well in a team environment and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using SAP's ERP Tool would be helpful, but is not required.
