Senior Facilities Technician needed for immediate long term contract role in the Canton, MA area! Seeking a hands-on professional to provide technical expertise overseeing the maintenance and operation of utility systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
The right person for this role will be a self-sufficient professional, with proven ability to troubleshoot building systems such as HVAC and other utilities while providing technical expertise to resolve any issues. This person will have the ability to lead a team of technicians ensuring proper cGMP record keeping, maintenance schedules and perform any corrective actions for smooth a forward process.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in maintaining and troubleshooting utilities systems in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment along with excellent communication skills in order to work in harmony with technicians, engineers and vendors. Current technical certifications or vocational training is a HUGE plus!!!

responsibilities:
- Support technicians and ensure the efficient and reliable functioning of utility equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of utility systems to identify potential issues and develop PM plans
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot complex problems with utility systems and equipment, and provide technical expertise and resolve issues
- Coordinate with other departments and external vendors to schedule repairs, maintenance, and equipment upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.
- High school diploma with minimum of 5 years of related experience maintaining and troubleshooting utilities systems in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated environment.
- Must have proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of utility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information
- Possess extensive knowledge and experience in utility systems, along with proven leadership and problem-solving skills
