Leading manufacturing plant is in search of a skilled Millwright worker to join their team. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of Millright experience within a manufacturing facility along with a High School Diploma.
We are seeking candidates who have an understanding of OSHA safety requirements, Lock out Tag out procedures and FERC & NEC standards.
Position ranges from $25.57-$35.28/hr + OT. Shift is Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm and must be available for emergency call-ins as this is a 24/7 plant. responsibilities:
- Install, align, and assemble new or replacement equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and paper machine rolls, using blueprints, hand tools, and power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and advanced repairs on a wide range of machinery, including pumps, speed reducers, and bearings.
- Use precision instruments like micrometers, lasers, and levels to diagnose mechanical problems and ensure equipment operates within specifications.
- Safely move heavy machinery and equipment using hoists, cranes, and other rigging equipment.
- Weld, bolt, and fasten machinery parts together, and may fabricate parts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety rules, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment.
