Environmental Specialist needed for a 6-9-month contract position in Meadville PA. This person will perform environmental compliance activities, including analyzing environmental data for various types of projects and compliance reports conducting routine visual inspections of operating equipment at a manufacturing facility, and preparing compliance reports to address permit requirements. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a bachelors degree. A Masters degree in a relevant field is preferred.

responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys, assessments and collect operations-related data for development of reports to demonstrate compliance with permit requirements.
- Prepare environmental reports for submittal to regulatory agencies.
- Collect data for analysis, and calculation of air emissions.
- Perform environmental site investigations, support erosion control efforts and subsurface soil sampling.
- Conduct routine inspections and/or measurements of facility and operational equipment and log observations.
- Support the preparation of permit applications potentially covering air and water related operations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to support the successful completion of required testing and measurement programs.
- Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
