This role supports the development, installation, and launch of powertrain production lines by leading equipment specifications, process planning, and cross-functional engineering activities in a 100% onsite manufacturing environment.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering) and at least five years of relevant experience, with a mechanical background and ideally Toyota powertrain exposure. They should be skilled in equipment specifications, design drawings, and supporting equipment installation for engine manufacturing. The role also requires willingness to work about 15% overtime and travel up to 10% domestically and internationally, including Japan.

responsibilities:
- Develop process plans for powertrain production lines in collaboration with the Manager.
- Provide direct mentorship and technical support to engineers and technicians.
- Lead cost planning, budget creation, machine specifications, procurement, validation, installation, pre-production trials, and production launch activities.
- Create, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
- Participate in and lead cross-functional working groups at both the local facility and corporate levels.
- Oversee construction support and equipment installations for engine manufacturing.
- Review design drawings and equipment specifications; support equipment runoffs and installations.
