A Mechanical Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Ogden, UT area. This is a Mechanical Engineering role (Level 1/2) focused on design, development, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes.

responsibilities:
Level 1:
- Participates in design/development/modification/evaluation of components/processes using EDPs, standards, guides, and SAPs.
- Compiles, adjusts, and correlates data to develop professional knowledge.
- Provides input to and/or maintains technical logs and records.
- Coordinates and collaborates with other engineering disciplines.
- Provides direct support to other disciplines for mechanical issues.
- Coordinates development and presentation of material.
- Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard methods, using independent judgment for adaptations/modifications.
- Provides technical assistance to other mechanical personnel.
- Interacts with project functions, customers, and regulatory agencies to resolve complex regulatory issues and industry codes/standards.
- Assists project and construction management in identifying and complying with mechanical requirements.
- Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as AS9100.
- Basic knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat or Unified Facilities Guide Specifications using SpecsIntact.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical system design (sizing, equipment selection, P&IDs, requirements verification).
Level 1:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering (or equivalent) with
- 1-2 years Experience.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering (or equivalent) with
- 2-5 years Experience.
