Electrical Project Engineer sought for an immediate Direct Hire Role in the Concord, Massachusetts area.
The Electrical Project Engineer will focus on the development and support of new and existing products. This position will be responsible for the development and support of embedded hardware for infrared monitoring devices used in a variety of industries to include; steel industry, automotive, aerospace, etc.
The right person will have previous project management experience and also possess excellent hardware development skills. This candidate will demonstrate knowledge of embedded SW architecture and design, as well as analog & digital signal processors and microcontrollers.
Key qualifications for this role include the desire to roll up your sleeves and become that hands on troubleshooter when needed. Must have BSEE along with 5+ years exposure to circuit board level analog, digital, and microprocessor design. Development in embedded firmware design, (Bare Metal/Embedded Linux) is also a must.

responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded hardware solutions for product development and next gen product lines
- Work closely with firmware engineers supporting projects for the development of solutions for products
- Identify or propose product and process improvements
- Write and conduct tests on new hardware/software releases
- Collaborate in harmony with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams
- BS Electrical Engineering along with 8+ years circuit board level analog, digital, and microprocessor design
- Development experience with embedded firmware design, (Bare Metal/Embedded Linux)
- Project Management knowledge and metrics experience
- Experience with HW debuggers and developing low-level HW support SW
- Experience with source code control systems
- Technical product mind set with desire to roll up sleeves and wear many hats
- Energetic with proven sense of urgency and accountability to work independently
- Experience working within a team structure to achieve individual and company goals
- Self-starter with demonstrated urgency and ownership of responsibilities
