A Quality Engineer is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. This Quality Engineering role manages and implements quality projects like SPC and new inspection technologies, provides training and technical support, and collaborates with teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

responsibilities:
- Execute projects for implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC), new inspection technologies, and their associated programming and validation.
- Evaluate and support quality control activities via training, inspection techniques, procedure preparation, and technical support.
- Coordinate and lead meetings for reviewing and executing new technologies.
- Interface with Suppliers and other engineers to ensure quality throughout the process.
- Develop inspection techniques and procedures to ensure product integrity meets design specifications.
- Work with Quality Engineers and Metrology Lab personnel on developing all product gaging.
- Participate as a trainer in Quality Control and Manufacturing employee training programs.
- Work with suppliers, management, Engineers, and Manufacturing associates to resolve quality problems.
- Assist various groups with capability studies and the application of statistical quality control.
