A leading OEM in the greater Atlanta area needs a skilled Senior Project Engineer/ Project Manager. The A Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager is responsible for leading the full execution lifecycle of complex engineering projects within a leading OEM environment. This role involves directing the engineering design, fabrication, and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all technical, quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or project management and a minimum of five years+ of relevant project management experience, ideally within an industrial OEM or EPC setting, particularly those serving the industrial gas or oil & gas sectors. The role requires proficiency in interpreting technical specifications, P&IDs, and skills with project management software.

responsibilities:
- Lead project execution from scope definition through final commissioning and closeout
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and engineering documents (e.g., P&IDs, BOMs)
- Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and service teams for submittals, testing (e.g., FATs), and customer handover
- Track project financials (hours, budget) and manage subcontractor billing and change orders
- Conduct internal kick-off and recurring client status meetings, providing timely communication on progress and risks
- Identify and resolve technical and schedule issues, escalating when necessary to maintain project momentum
