Our client is in search of a Lead Wind Turbine Mechanic. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a well recognized company within the wind power industry. We are seeking Mechanics with 2 years of supervisory experience that have extensive experience working on industrial equipment or automotive. This does not have to be industry specific and can be experience from a hobby.
This position is 100% travel throughout the US with overnight stays. Compensation ranges from $30-$40/hr + OT. Our client offers full benefits with 3 weeks paid PTO & 10 paid holidays.

responsibilities:
- Serve as project lead
- Travel regularly to turbine sites as needed, which may include overnight stays or short-notice deployments
- Perform scheduled maintenance and general service on wind turbines
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues
- Perform diagnostic electrical analysis
- Maintain and inventory company issued tooling and equipment
- Complete and submit reports upon job completion
- Submit daily and per diem time accurately and on-time
- Train & mentor entry level technicians
