responsibilities:
- Plan, design, construct, and maintain natural gas compression stations
- Lead and assist with engineering projects including design and inspections
- Develop specifications, reports, and environmental impact assessments
- Manage contracts, schedules, and cost estimates
- Provide engineering services integrating applicable laws and standards
- Follow established standard procedures for file structure and drawings
- Utilize oral and written communication to provide technical expertise
- Serve as the onsite engineering project representative
- Review operating and construction sites to monitor progress
- Oversee technical staff on engineering projects
- Ensure resource allocation is effective and sufficient
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers
- Work primarily in an office setting with regular travel to project sites
- Work regular business hours with potential for additional hours based on deadlines
- At least 5 years of Electrical or I&C engineering experience
- Preference for experience with control systems
- Knowledge of the design, construction, or operation of industrial facilities
- Knowledge of gas compressor stations
- Experience in procurement of engineered material and equipment
- Experience coordinating and developing contract documents and engineering drawings
- strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to accept and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Alternatively requires 10 years of directly applicable I&C Electrical design work experience
- Professional Engineering license is preferred but not required
