responsibilities:
Bid Administration
- Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to ensure comprehensive understanding for project success.
- Solicit and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors.
- Prepare and distribute subcontract bid packages and transmit addenda or updates.
- Ensure proper subcontractor and vendor coverage on bid day.
- Demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness to secure competitive pricing.
- Enter all relevant information into B2W (Bid 2 Win) estimating software.
- Review bid requirements thoroughly and develop RFIs and clarifications as needed.
- Understand the scope of specific trades and ensure comprehensive subcontractor coverage.
- Perform detailed bid-day analysis and scoping of assigned trades.
- Minimize exclusions by anticipating unique project needs.
- Consistently follow up on submitted bids with clients and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with engineers, architects, construction managers, property managers, brokers, and others.
- Deliver bid documents and sub buyout information to the Project Management team in a timely manner.
- Review project drawings and highlight areas of concern with the team.
- Ensure compliance with the bid as presented and discuss job costs and supplier pricing

- Great witten and verbal communication skills

- Familiarity with bidding software, preferably B2W (Bid 2 Win) .
