responsibilities:
- Support power generation projects by managing operational technology (OT) initiatives and asset management.
- Lead field modernization and the implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) within OT environments.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DCS and PLC hardware and software from various vendors.
- Oversee the integration of controls communication and logic by collaborating with IT and engineering teams.
- Manage and analyze project data using Excel for tracking and performance reporting.
- Review and update technical documentation for control systems and network configurations.
- Ensure control system reliability and compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
- Troubleshoot network and control system issues during plant modernization activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Apply expertise in electrical engineering to the design and operation of electric generating plants.
- Experience in a plant environment, prefer power or manufacturing
- Proficiency in Excel data management for reporting and analysis.
- DCS experience (preferred) with knowledge of control system architecture.
- Understanding of controls equipment types and functions.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 6+ years of experience.
