responsibilities:
- Directly manage and oversee all aspects of HVAC system installation on commercial construction projects.
- Direct daily operations, manage project timelines, and coordinate the work of various subcontractors to maintain schedule adherence.
- Provide guidance, support, and direct supervision to HVAC installation crews, ensuring all work adheres to high standards of quality and safety.
- Accurately read, analyze, and apply information from blueprints, technical specifications, and mechanical engineering plans.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison for all parties, including clients, project managers, and material/equipment vendors.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges in the field to prevent delays and maintain project momentum.
- Diligently monitor the job site to ensure strict adherence to all established safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Minimum of five 7+ of demonstrated field experience as a Mechanical/HVAC Superintendent in a relevant trade (e.g., pipefitting, sheet metal, or technician).
- Proven experience of overseeing mechanical and industrial commercial projects from concept to completion
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex construction blueprints and system schematics.
- A foundational understanding of both hydronic (water-based) and ductwork distribution systems.
- Expert-level skills in job scheduling and coordinating various moving parts within a construction project.
- Practical experience utilizing project management platforms (such as FieldWire, Procore, or Autodesk products).
- Exceptional communication abilities coupled with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
