An Engineering Technologist is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Ogden, UT area. This position will be responsible for extracting and managing technical data, coordinating project documentation, and providing administrative support to engineering leads while ensuring work meets strict quality and schedule requirements.

responsibilities:
- Support engineering leads in tracking information and locating documents.
- Perform data searches and maintain open item punch list statuses.
- Prepare presentation slides and support meeting logistics.
- Prepare and review technical documents under engineering direction.
- Support CAD updates and back-checking procedures.
- Ensure work meets high-quality standards and adheres to the schedule.
- Demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group.
- Maintain Key Process Improvement registers.
- Foster a work environment based on openness, trust, and empowerment.
- Level 1 requires an Associate degree with 1-2 years of experience or no degree with 4-5 years of experience.
- Level 2 requires an Associate degree with 3-4 years of experience or no degree with 5-6 years of experience.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Maintain proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Utilize computers to manage technical data within relational databases.
- Analyze and classify technical information for easy retrieval and analysis.
- Monitor large quantities of data and employ efficient extraction techniques.
- Coordinate effectively with multiple disciplines and management.
- Identify and capture specific technical details from large data sets accurately.
- Learn to draft intelligent piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Previous experience with DOD, DOE, or similar large-scale projects is preferred.
