A prominent manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for their location in Raleigh. The Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems for custom lifting and handling equipment, including control
panels, drive systems, power distribution, instrumentation, and safety circuits. The Electrical Engineer will also support the configuration and programming of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMIs for equipment automation systems.This is a salaried position with benefits paid in the $115K+ range!

responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for custom lifting and handling equipment, including control
panels, drive systems, power distribution, instrumentation, and safety circuits. - Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams,
conduit and cable schedules, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Solid Edge Electrical. Prepare
comprehensive electrical submittal packages for jobs that require them. Create purchased part
drawings for electrical equipment, specifying preferred and alternative vendors. Ensure accuracy
and clarity of documentation for use in manufacturing and field installation. - Perform engineering calculations such as load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, grounding, and arc
flash analysis to validate and optimize system performance and safety.
