The Project Superintendent provides comprehensive jobsite supervision, overseeing all subcontractors and trades to ensure high-quality production. A core focus of this role involves developing and implementing project schedules while maintaining a rigorous quality assurance program. You will be expected to uphold a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by strictly enforcing company standards and safety procedures.
Beyond field supervision, you will play a key role in the project's financial and operational health. This includes monitoring expenditures to meet construction budgets, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions. You will also assist in project constructability and value engineering, expedite material and equipment approvals, and lead progress meetings. As the project nears completion, you will oversee the job closeout process and conduct occupancy training for the Owner.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a background in commercial construction management. You must demonstrate the ability to manage complex timelines and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously. Proficiency in budget monitoring and a deep commitment to site safety are essential.
