A Demand Planner is needed for a multinational corporation that is involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of athletic apparel, equipment, accessories, and services in the Beaverton, OR area. This role is for a Demand Planner focusing on Women's Running footwear for the APLA region and will use data and retail math to forecast inventory, build seasonal depth plans, and collaborate with Merchandising to drive profitable growth.

responsibilities:
- Partner with Running APLA Planning and Merchandising teams to align consumer demand with supply.
- Develop and finalize pre-season assortment depth plans for Women's Running footwear at the style-color level.
- Build long-range product-based sales and inventory forecasts to maximize revenue and margin.
- Conduct detailed seasonal analysis of sales results to inform future financial and inventory planning.
- Create and manage monthly stock and sales plans to provide inventory outlooks for buying decisions.
- Collaborate with Business Planners to identify financial risks and growth opportunities.
- Utilize Excel and data analytics to drive fact-based decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Influence cross-functional partners through effective communication and professional presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior within the sports apparel industry.
- Execute end-to-end planning processes for a multi-store retail or wholesale environment.
- Excel (basic to intermediate expertise).
- Specific demand planning/inventory planning/sourcing experience.
- Effective communication.
- Ability to analyze data and trends.
- Microsoft Office expertise.
- Presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience minimum required in a demand planning role.
