A Product Development Manager is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Atlanta, GA area. This role is focused on innovating and commercializing sports drinks and will manage technical beverage development from lab to shelf while collaborating globally to maintain formulas and drive category growth.

responsibilities:
- Focuses on product development specifically within the Sports Drink category.
- Manages the full product lifecycle from initial concept through commercialization.
- Applies principles of food science, sensory analysis, microbiology, and engineering to beverage design.
- Maintains existing base business products and leads productivity/cost-savings initiatives.
- Works independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and global business units.
- Acts as a technical consultant for specifications, processes, and formula systems.
- Identifies and resolves ingredient and formula issues to drive business results.
- Protects proprietary formula information and technical intellectual property.
- Liaises with external suppliers and researches emerging industry trends.
