An AutoCAD Designer is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Mebane, NC area. A technical drafting role focused on creating and updating 2D AutoCAD blocks and converting 3D Creo models into accurate 2D drawings to support engineering and design standards.

responsibilities:
- Develops standardized 2D AutoCAD blocks for various components and assemblies.
- Refines and updates existing drawing blocks to align with current design standards.
- Converts complex 3D Creo models into precise 2D AutoCAD representations.
- Ensures all drawings maintain dimensional integrity and technical accuracy.
- Adheres to company drafting standards and industry best practices for geometric tolerances.
- Collaborates with engineers to interpret design specifications and implement feedback.
- Manages organized digital drawing files and maintains strict version control.
- Utilizes technical drafting skills to support mechanical and industrial design projects.
- Executes tasks within set deadlines through efficient time management.
- Translates engineering concepts into clean, usable documentation for project teams.
- AutoCAD expertise (2D drafting and block creation).
- Basic knowledge of Creo 3D modeling.
