A Structural Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company. Remote (hybrid) work. This is a mid-to-senior level hybrid role in structural design, focused on leading small teams to deliver high-precision Revit models and construction documents for semiconductor and industrial facilities.

responsibilities:
- Develop 3D structural models from verbal instructions, rough sketches, or conceptual designs.
- Produce complete sets of structural plans and construction-ready documentation.
- Translate engineering input into detailed models for semiconductor fabrication and advanced technology facilities.
- Apply department and client standards consistently across all 2D and 3D deliverables.
- Lead small design teams by managing task assignments, balancing workloads, and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate design efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure clash-adjudicated results.
- Lead internal, cross-discipline, and external package reviews for quality and compliance.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of personal work and the work of junior team members.
- Design traditional steel and concrete structures for general industrial environments.
- Utilize Revit, Tekla, SmartPlant, Navisworks, and Bluebeam for structural modeling and coordination.
- Advance design automation skills and integrate emerging technologies into the workflow.
- Attend project meetings to resolve technical concerns and solve complex design problems.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
- Minimum of 3 years Revit experience.
- 7 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field.
- 5 years of Revit experience.
- Experience with SmartPlant and Tekla.
- Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam.
- Experience designing traditional steel and concrete structures.
- Experience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-related.
