A Material Coordinator is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Milan, IL area. The role focuses on ensuring production continuity through SAP/EWM implementation, data accuracy, and proactive problem-solving within a warehouse environment.

responsibilities:
- Coordinates material flow and refills Kanban systems to ensure production personnel have necessary parts.
- Oversees inventory accuracy and identifies root causes for material shortages.
- Oversees the tactical execution of production plans and daily schedules for a specific department.
- Assists in the implementation of new SAP/EWM systems into the Parts Distribution Center (PDC).
- Uses SAP, EWM, DNS, and WCS warehouse management systems to track progress and update order statuses.
- Resolves issues involving missing items, damaged goods, or system errors to minimize operational delays.
- Audits material replenishment cycles and creates replenishment plans.
- Processes transactions for inbound and outbound materials and manages rejected materials.
- Tracks productivity metrics and reports results to supervisors with recommendations for improvement.
- Exceptional data entry speed/accuracy plus ability to stay focused and perform work for long periods of time.
- Self-motivated to help coworkers during lull times.
- Experience w/inventory systems/tools/AS400 program extremely beneficial in this role; will be troubleshooting through inventory issues.
- Attention to detail, timeliness and excellent attendance are key as position is imperative in keeping operation running.
