A Technical Business Analyst is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Mebane, NC area. This role serves as a technical intermediary that translates business needs into functional product configuration tools by defining logic rules, documenting requirements, and leading quality assurance testing to ensure accurate system performance.

responsibilities:
- Act as the primary bridge between business requirements and technical solutions for product configuration tools.
- Capture and document detailed functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to align tool functionality with product strategy.
- Define and implement complex product rules to ensure valid and compliant configurations.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure tool performance and quality.
- Provide user training, create instructional guides, and offer ongoing technical support.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to manage rule-based logic systems.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business requirements.
- Work within software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Manage configuration tools or Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems.
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in documenting functional requirements and creating test plans.
- Familiarity with product configuration systems and rule-based logic.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and business teams.
