We are in search of advantageous Field Service Engineers to join an installation engineering team for a well known company. You will work with a group of technicians to set-up and build customers lithography scanners. We are seeking candidates with a 2-year associates degree in electrical, mechanical, or related field. Candidates will need 2-5 years of related experience in mechanical/electrical engineering within the semiconductor industry. Candidates will also need working in cleanroom experience.
This opportunity is based in Hillsboro, Oregon with domestic travel of 50-80%. This is a 1 year contract to hire position ranging from $23-$29/HR + OT. Hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work usually required during projecta up to 3 Saturdays per month. Please apply today!

responsibilities:
- Set up electronic, mechanical, optical units to ensure equipment performs to specification.
- Provides technical support of process piping and electro-mechanical systems as related to semiconductor equipment installations
- Work involves isolating and defining unknown conditions and resolving critical problems
- Install or relocate customer equipment and perform associated start-up and check-out procedures
- Report and communicate technical issues and provide feedback on technical documentation
- Lay cabling and to perform work in accordance with specifications and procedures
- Take physical field measurements and conduct facility verification
- Use measurement tools
