An Engineering Technician is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Winston-Salem, NC area. This is a Senior Engineering Technician role focused on the hands-on fabrication, machining, and testing of aircraft interior prototypes to support innovation and safety in a high-speed aerospace lab environment.

responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble commercial aircraft seats and interior furniture in collaboration with engineers.
- Perform moderately complex technical tasks within the Engineering Development Lab (EDL) under minimal supervision.
- Machine small precision parts based on technical engineering drawings.
- Provide technical support and feedback to engineering teams regarding test article builds and procedures.
- Execute and document test procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings and models for fabrication purposes.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, machining equipment, and metal fabrication machinery.
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks within a fast-paced, highly regulated aerospace environment.
- Proficient with variety of hand tools
- Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations.

- Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and
- Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
