Manufacturing company with locations nationwide is targeting a Controls Engineer for their facility in the Cincinnati OH area. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of industrial Automation/Controls experience, including PLC programming and low-to-medium voltage experience. Must be willing to travel 35% nationwide.
BS in Engineering or related technical/military training required.

responsibilities:
- Lead control panel design, including detailed layouts, power distribution, and component selection.
- Design, program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other automation components.
- Commission new equipment and support start-ups.
- Analyze automated processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support for automation systems and equipment.
- Ability to travel 35% nationwide.
- BS Electrical Engineering or similar preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial automation experience.
- Experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
- Knowledge of motor control and power distribution design in low to medium voltage applications
