A Quality Assurance Engineer for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Redmond, WA area. This quality engineering role focuses on managing non-conformances (NC/CAPA) and supplier performance through rigorous investigation, process validation (PPAP/MSA), and data analysis to ensure product integrity and manufacturing excellence.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional and supplier teams to ensure high-quality performance of products and manufacturing processes.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Non-Conformances (NC) and Corrective Action Preventative Actions (CAPA) within the Trackwise electronic system.
- Investigate manufacturing-related complaints, product field actions, and internal non-conforming products within the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Communicate directly with suppliers to resolve quality issues and escalate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) when necessary.
- Execute and manage Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICRs) by coordinating assessments and approvals with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities and evaluate qualifications for internal and supplier-proposed changes.
- Support the development, review, and execution of process and equipment validations, qualifications, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
- Analyze quality KPIs and trends to identify and implement necessary corrective actions or process improvements.
- Assist in manufacturing transfers between facilities and lead the creation or modification of standard operating procedures.
- Identify and execute opportunities for supplier part certification to enhance supply chain reliability.
