A Document Control Specialist for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Cary, IL area. This role serves as a Document Control Specialist responsible for managing the lifecycle, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of technical manufacturing documentation within a highly regulated environment.

responsibilities:
- Maintain and update logs, databases, and catalogs for product, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance data.
- Coordinate the comprehensive review and revision cycle for procedures, specifications, and forms.
- Prepare detailed process reports and status updates to track documentation progress.
- Assign and monitor document identification numbers to ensure organizational consistency.
- Audit documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in the compilation and organization of regulatory filing documents.
- Manage computerized filing systems to support global documentation infrastructure.
- Apply professional judgment and technical expertise to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Expert in microsoft word, technical writing, working with cross functional.
- Excellent working knowledge of document control management processes and practices.
- Ability to learn new concepts, coach, mentor, or train on new concepts..
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
- Effective analytical problem solving, judgement and decision making required.
- Proactive nature and flexibility to change gears with little notice.
