An Electrical Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Indianapolis, IN area. A senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing complex power and life-safety systems for pharmaceutical facilities while leading multi-discipline teams and mentoring junior staff.

responsibilities:
- Designs comprehensive electrical systems including Medium and Low voltage power, UPS/Generators, and lighting.
- Develops specialized infrastructure for Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address, Telecomm, and Heat Trace systems.
- Ensures technical quality and schedule adherence for challenging engineering tasks within pharmaceutical environments.
- Provides direct on-site assistance during facility startup and commissioning phases.
- Coordinates complex work activities with the discipline lead and interactive multi-discipline teams.
- Manages project scopes, budgets, and schedules to meet specific client expectations.
- Mentors and guides other professionals to support team development and technical growth.
- Utilizes ACAD and REVIT to produce precise engineering designs and documentation.
- Applies expert knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) to ensure all designs meet safety and regulatory codes.
- Collaborates across departments to achieve overarching project delivery and integration goals.
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
- Work collaboratively to achieve overall project delivery goals.
- Working knowledge of ACAD and REVIT.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in engineering design of building electrical systems.
