A Quality Administrative Assistant is needed for one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery to the power, oil, gas, chemical and other industries in the Raleigh, NC area. The Quality Admin Assistant manages the lifecycle of quality and manufacturing documentation by drafting procedures, organizing complex filing systems, and maintaining statistical data to support quality assurance and customer submittals.

responsibilities:
- Processes and optimizes document filing systems for both digital vaults and physical storage.
- Drafts and revises quality documents, including Word versions of PIOPs and SOIs.
- Maintains QAM distribution logs and tracks procedural and employee reports.
- Coordinates the transfer of documentation to third-party companies for scanning or storage.
- Files, scans, and organizes manufacturing travelers, route cards, and inspection records across multiple departments.
- Creates methods and file paths for the collection and analysis of statistical data and quality metrics.
- Manages Metaltrace administration, including uploading vendor certifications and shipping documents.
- Prepares and processes standard documentation packages for customer submittals.
- Participates in facility training regarding quality assurance processes and improvements.
- Supports data entry and administrative tasks for engineering, inventory, and purchasing teams.
- strong secretary, administrative, and data entry skills.
- Prior working experience in a quality assurance department would be a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- strong attention to detail and computer literacy.
- Experience with digital and paper file organization, scanning, and emailing.
