Our client is seeking a hands-on Construction Estimator with multi-trade knowledge and field awareness to join their corporate preconstruction team in Rochester, NY. This role is ideal for an estimator who understands how work is actually built - not just how to measure drawings.
You will be responsible for estimating every facet of the project in-house, including concrete, steel, site work, carpentry, millwright rigging, and general trades. This is a true old-school estimator role requiring deep construction knowledge, curiosity, and the ability to think through scope, labor productivity, logistics, and constructability - even when drawings are incomplete or unclear.
