Seeking a Structural Designer to develop detailed drawings and technical plans for our clients concrete shelter systems. Working primarily with Revit, you will translate customer specifications and electrical layouts into accurate structural designs while performing the necessary mathematical calculations to ensure project integrity. responsibilities:
- Draft and refine accurate technical drawings for concrete shelter structures and their internal systems
- Analyze customer specifications, bid documents, and electrical layouts to create cohesive structural designs
- Complete standard mathematical calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of each structure
- Build comprehensive lists of parts and materials needed for construction while the design is still in progress
- Manage structural projects of moderate complexity, focusing primarily on single concrete units
- Review and mark up drawings created by other team members to ensure quality and precision
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for factory workers, the sales team, and clients
- Use specialized software like AutoCAD and Revit to produce high-quality architectural and mechanical plans
- Collaborate with the wider design team to meet deadlines and fulfill specific management requests
