A Senior Engineering Technicianis needed for a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company. This role requiring 11+ years of experience in 3D Substation Design (MicroStation or AutoCAD) to oversee complex engineering deliverables and mentor technical teams, and candidates can work out of any company location as long as they are within a 50 mile radius of the office.

responsibilities:
- Functions as a senior technical lead and supervisor, applying advanced engineering expertise to solve complex design challenges.
- Utilizes Bentley MicroStation 3D and AutoCAD 3D to create, modify, and manage high-level substation design documentation.
- Provides consultation, training, and technical oversight to other technicians to ensure quality and adherence to project standards.
- Establishes and communicates design and graphic standards while ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
- Performs complex design calculations and develops detailed material quantities and project estimates.
- Manages drawing control and historical records according to established project methodologies.
- Reviews design inputs and deliverables from team members to ensure consistency and technical accuracy.
- Coordinates with cross-functional design groups to exchange critical project information and resolve conflicts.
- Monitors production progress to ensure deliverables meet budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience.
- Experienced with Bentley Microstation 3D and/or AutoCad 3D substation design.
