Be a part of the team building the future of labor automation! Our client is a pioneering AI and robotics firm dedicated to creating the world's most advanced, reliable, and commercially scalable humanoid robots. Based in Boston, you will be a key architect of the Whole-Body Control (WBC) software stack, bridging the gap between classical control theory and modern reinforcement learning. This is a high-stakes, system-defining role where you will breathe life into general-purpose robots designed to safeguard human well-being and solve critical global labor gaps.
We are seeking a high-level robotics expert who brings:
Advanced Academic Foundation: A M.S. or Ph.D. in Robotics, Control, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Complex Systems Experience: 5+ years of experience developing control software for high-DOF systems like humanoids, legged platforms, or articulated manipulators.
Control Theory Mastery: A deep theoretical and practical background in classical control (Model-Based, Optimal, and QP-based control) combined with robot dynamics and kinematics.
Real-Time Software Engineering: Proven ability to design and implement deterministic, real-time control algorithms in C++ or Python.
Hardware & Sim Validation: Significant experience validating complex control architectures both in high-fidelity simulations and on physical hardware.
