As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the Core Platform team, you will design the electrical architecture that brings these machines to life-transitioning from small test systems to fully integrated, high-performance prototype robots that safeguard human well-being and amplify human capacity.
We are seeking an elite electrical expert who brings:
Advanced Academic & Technical Foundation: A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with mastery of electrical system design for complex robotics or electromechanical systems.
High-Speed Data Mastery: Extensive experience with PCIe, Ethernet, EtherCAT, and other critical communication protocols within PCB-based devices.
Power Systems Expertise: Proven ability to develop power regulation and distribution systems, including expertise in switching power supplies and creative short-circuit protection.
Hardware Design Proficiency: Expert-level skill with Altium for detailed schematic capture and high-density PCB layouts.
Embedded & Linux Fluency: Proficiency in writing firmware (C, HDL) for microcontrollers, DSPs, or FPGAs, combined with a working knowledge of command-line Linux for robot interfacing.

- Advanced Debugging & Analysis: Utilize oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and programmable loads to conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot complex, high-stakes electrical systems.
- Cross-Functional Hardware Integration: Collaborate closely with mechanical and software teams to integrate electrical systems with physical hardware, ensuring seamless robot operation.
