National manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Designer. This position is located near Goodwater, Alabama. The Designer will develop product designs from initial RFQ's through product roll out.
The salary is commensurate with experience ranging from $60K to $75K, plus a potential bonus, and other great benefits! All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
- Consider product cost drivers and work to provide designs that are value oriented, meeting the customer requirements at the lowest cost.
- Test, analyze or otherwise establish the functional parameters of new products and document accordingly
- Create designs in 3D CAD and, from that, develop visual renderings, production drawings, and assembly instructions
