A Facilities Services Category Manager is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. This role is focused on managing complex Facilities Services categories and leading high-impact projects, including a major industrial network optimization, machine relocation, and site decommissioning across the Americas.

responsibilities:
- Manage strategy, spend, and sourcing for hard and soft Facilities Services including maintenance, cleaning, security, and waste management.
- Support the Global Facilities & Real Estate Category Team in executing sourcing strategies and managing supplier performance.
- Work on-site in Memphis at least three days per week to partner with key stakeholders.
- Lead procurement for a strategic network optimization program involving construction, office conversions, and roof repairs.
- Manage the relocation of 300+ machines, including decommissioning, asset sales, and electrical/mechanical work.
- Oversee facilities procurement and contract terminations for a specific site closure in the US.
- Standardize Facilities hard services across the Americas region.
- Execute the full RFP process from initial requirements to final contract signature.
- Analyze supply market data and internal business needs to inform category decisions.
- Identify and mitigate supplier risks while resolving performance issues.
- Bachelor's degree required at a minimum, in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field.
- 10+ years Procurement experience and 5+ years Facilities Category Procurement experience.
