Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading machinery manufacturer based near Winder, GA. This role is responsible for obtaining customer specifications and designing the mechanical components of the machinery.

Required Qualifications:
- B.S degree in Engineering
- Must have at least two (2) years experience in machine systems design within a manufacturing environment
- SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D) experience

responsibilities:
- Develop designs for machinery using and applying engineering principles, research data and customer machine specifications
- Obtaining customer specifications and designing the mechanical components of the machinery
- Utilizing Solidworks as primary computer-aided design (CAD) platform for line layout creation / modification
- Clarify specifications, machine capabilities, resolve problems, review and develop designs
- Modify existing designs in equipment to meet performance specifications and customer requirements.
- Release parts for purchase and/or manufacturing
