A Supply Management Specialist is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Ankeny, IA area. This role is focused on managing part deliveries, monitoring supplier performance, and performing data analysis to support sourcing and procurement operations within a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
- Manage purchased parts delivery for internal and external suppliers across multiple locations.
- Support entry-level sourcing and Enterprise Product Delivery (EPDP) and Order Fulfillment (EOFP) processes.
- Develop and enforce strategies and contracts for low-value, low-complexity commodities.
- Assist with cost modeling, spend analysis, and make-vs-buy studies.
- Resolve invoice issues and perform data analysis.
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to address chronic supplier performance issues.
- Utilize the Achieving Excellence process to monitor and manage supplier performance.
- Conduct complex quality tests, inspections, and analyses using independent judgment.
- Execute supply chain planning activities within defined frameworks.
- Contribute to business cases and continuous improvement ideas for existing operations.
- Ensure all work adheres to organizational policies, regulatory codes, and standard procedures.

- Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months).
