A Technician is needed for a world class utility company in Roanoke, VA or New Albany, OH areas. This role is focused on utility asset management, regulatory compliance (FAC-008), and technical documentation within a power or electrical utility environment.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate FAC-008 regulatory compliance activities and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Navigate and monitor the IPS asset database to manage equipment information.
- Read and interpret electrical one-lines and physical engineering prints.
- Manage technical files and upload photographic evidence into the Verifact system for verification support.
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and integrity across all technical documentation.
- Perform intermediate-level engineering design, testing, and maintenance of utility equipment and facilities.
- Execute cost-effective technical work by applying knowledge of materials and industrial processes.
- Provide training and informal guidance to colleagues to support team development.
- Organize work schedules and adjust planning to meet specific project time constraints.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and proactively seek out new industry knowledge.
- Support internal and external customer needs through effective decision-making and business awareness.
- Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/ Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields plus
- 2 years of related utility industry work experience.
