An Application Engineer is needed for a leading cooling technology company. The Application Engineer is responsible for the design and technical oversight of large-scale data center cooling solutions, including advanced liquid cooling and high-efficiency air systems. You will play a pivotal role in the pre-sales process by translating complex customer requirements into optimized thermal configurations that align with our sales strategy. Your expertise ensures that our chillers, CDUs, and liquid-rack systems are perfectly tailored to meet the critical demands of modern digital infrastructure.
Candidates must hold an Engineering degree and possess 2+ years of experience specifically within a data center HVAC manufacturing environment. You should demonstrate proficiency in CAD software and data center modeling tools, alongside a deep understanding of both liquid and air-handling technologies. Success in this role requires the ability to lead technical walkthroughs and effectively communicate engineering concepts to diverse stakeholders during site evaluations. Relocation will be considered for qualified candidates.

- Configure and design comprehensive cooling solutions, including CDUs, Fan-Walls, and Liquid Rack systems, to meet specific client needs
- Oversee site evaluations, technical walkthroughs, and the development of detailed technical proposals and system drawings
- Partner with sales teams to deliver high-impact presentations that articulate the benefits and capabilities of Aegis technologies
- Conduct on-site facility tours and assessments to ensure precise system sizing and configuration for mission-critical environments
- Prepare technical specifications and assist in creating sales resources such as white papers and application notes
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in liquid cooling innovation
