A Support Engineer is needed for an American multinational company specializing in transportation, e-commerce, and business services in the Moon Township, PA area. This role is responsible for fixing complex automated conveyor systems and PLC malfunctions & will lead high-level troubleshooting, manage vendors, and coordinate cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and keep massive operations running smoothly.

responsibilities:
- Lead the remediation of Material Handling System downtime to ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical automation and control systems, specifically focusing on conveyor control systems, PLCs, and HMI software.
- Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions by analyzing control system schematics and using ladder logic programming.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex, multi-disciplined problems, coordinating with SMEs and external vendors.
- Manage integrated IT systems and maintain an in-depth understanding of how different ownership groups intersect.
- Execute project management duties, including managing vendors and local teams to ensure contract commitments and project timelines are met.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with field teams, business units, and all levels of management regarding technical issues and solutions.
- Balance responsibilities across multiple disciplines while navigating a high-pressure environment of constant change.
- Utilize expert knowledge of all potentially impacted departments to ensure cross-functional support and alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering with 8-10 years experience or related technical or Quantitative field or 4 years experience in lou of degree or
- Four (4) additional years experience in a related and applicable technical field.
- 10 years experience in technical troubleshooting of conveyor system controls and advanced in-depth production or process machinery experience and advanced mechanical and/or commercial/industrial experience.
- Previous Industrial Maintenance Manager Experience preferred.
